El Derby County Football Club es un club de fútbol de Inglaterra, de la ciudad de Derby en Derbyshire. Fue fundado en 1884 y juega en la Football League Championship en la temporada 2008-2009.
Derby County Football Club (también conocido como The Rams) fue fundado en 1884 como una sección del Derbyshire County Cricket Club. Su primer nombre fue Derbyshire County FC. En 1972 el equipo gana su primera Liga con Brian Clough de entrenador, que había ascendido al equipo apenas dos años antes. En la Copa de Europa de 1973 llega a semifinales siendo eliminado por la Juventus. En la temporada 2007/2008 juega en la Premier League.
