El Birmingham City Football Club es un club de fútbol de Inglaterra, de la ciudad de Birmingham en West Midlands. Fue fundado en 1875 y juega en la FA Premier League.
Luego de jugar la temporada 2005-06 en la FA Premier League descendió a la Football League Championship donde solo estuvo un año ya que volvió a ascender de categoría para la temporada 2007-08. Fue subcampeón en dos ocasiones consecutivas de la extinta Copa de Ferias. En la edición de 1958-1960 perdió en la final a doble partido con el Barcelona y en la de 1960-61 hizo lo propio ante la Roma. El 8 de agosto del 2009 el Birmingham disputó un partido de pretemporada contra el Real Sporting de Gijón (0-0), equipo que ya se había encontrado en el Trofeo Ciudad de la Línea de 1978.
